Hawzah News Agency- During a meeting with organizers of the congress, the Deputy Chairman of the Assembly of Experts expressed appreciation for the efforts and research activities carried out to hold the event. “I thank all those who have worked tirelessly to organize this congress and highlight the personality of Salman Farsi,” he said.
Ayatollah Bushehri stressed that the most striking feature of Salman’s life is his hopeful outlook and his unquenched thirst for truth, which took him from Iran to Medina in pursuit of spiritual fulfillment. Referring to the famous hadith, “Salman is from us, the people of the household,” he underlined that spiritual and practical kinship with the Prophet is superior to mere family ties.
He further noted that reliance on Salman’s Iranian identity is essential, as he remains a popular figure beyond political or social divisions. Highlighting two key lessons from Salman’s life, he said: “The first lesson is his path of perseverance to reach the Prophet, and the second is his loyalty and service while being with the Prophet.”
The senior cleric also underscored the importance of explaining the reciprocal services between Islam and Iran, centered on the figure of Salman, as a way to strengthen the concept of Islamic Iran. He described Salman as a “model governor” whose multifaceted personality provides wide scope for research and scholarly work.
At the beginning of the session, Ali Ghasemzadeh, the mayor of Isfahan, along with other organizers, presented a report on the programs and objectives of the congress. The Salman Farsi National Congress will be held soon in Isfahan.
